My response to the Republican attacks on "community organizing"

At the Republican national convention, the message seems to be "community organizing is a joke". Sarah Palin went so far as to mock Barack Obama for the community-based work he's done.

Well, I just watched an inspiring video that shows some of the people who have built the Obama campaign—at the community level—into the phenomenon it is:

I don't put in the effort these people do. But I have great respect for them and share their desire for a better America than the one we're living in right now, so I just made a donation to support them. I hope you will too.

This might be the most important presidential election in modern history. If it goes to the Republicans, they'll know they can trample on the constitution, ignore the law, violate ethics and morals, and be rewarded with four more years in the White House. I for one refuse to let that happen.
